This business was built on one simple belief, that everyone deserves the chance to make the most of their one life. For me, financial planning isn’t just about numbers. It’s about people, families, goals, and the kind of future you want to create. The money is clearly important and I place tremendous importance on a thoroughly researched, evidence-based investment approach.
Who you’ll be meeting
I’m Toby Evans, an independent financial adviser & planner based in Dorset. I live in a small village between Wimborne and Poole, where I’m lucky enough to be raising two energetic daughters with my wife.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me playing padel or real tennis, barbecuing in the summer (with mixed success), or making gluten-free risotto or tartiflette in the kitchen. Being able to witness my girls’ learn to swim, be present at their nativity plays and sports days is a non-negotiable. These are the moments that matter to me, and they’re the reason I understand how much a financial plan needs to support real life, not just a spreadsheet.
How I got here today
With a Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, I offer fully independent financial advice. I am accredited by the CII and CISI, and received the top-scoring results in the Bournemouth area exams in both 2022 and 2023 with the CII.
In 2023, I trained in the Kinder Institute’s Life Planning EVOKE method. This has added another layer of depth to the way I support my clients, helping them find clarity not just about money, but about what matters most.
Business administration
With over a decade of experience in teaching and more recently a number of years working in a corporate environment, Leah supports our business with many administrative aspects. She is the hidden keystone behind the scenes, ensuring everything works as it should do.
With a meticulous eye for detail and a tremendously systematic approach, Leah possesses a remarkable ability to getting things done, whilst leaving no stone unturned. She is not afraid to challenge Toby and acts as an excellent sense checker and second opinion service on a number of strategic business decisions.
